Who we are

Bar Harbor Cellars Winery focuses on small batch craft wines, located just outside Bar Harbor, on Mount Dessert Island, Maine. The winery was first established in the early 2000’s on what was a regenerative agricultural farm known as “Sweet Pea Farms”. The tasting room is an old 1860’s wooden barn, supported by notched and doweled timbers, rehabbed by the previous owners. Sweet Pea the cow, beloved pet of the farmer, once stood upon the planks of the barn floor and called it home. All wines we offer are produced and bottled on premise. The winery offers a variety of dry, semi-sweet, and sweet wines made from traditional vinifera and, fruits. Outside the tasting room you will find, a small vineyard, blueberry field, and heirloom apple orchard managed and maintained by owner and friends.
