Do you ship wine?

What’s the largest group you can accommodate?
The largest group we can accommodate comfortably is a party of 6. If you have a larger group we may need to split the group up if everyone requires seating. During the summer the larger the group the longer the wait times, especially if raining!!
Do you host private tastings or tours?
We may be able to host private tastings/ tours outside of our normal operating hours, cost and time vary. Please reach out to info@barharborwinery.com to request private tastings and tours. Tours are currently not offered to the public.
Can we bring in outside food or drinks to the winery?
The short answer is no, with a couple exceptions. First exception, water bottles, which we can fill with water if asked. Lastly, goods sold by the neighboring coffee shop Crooked Porch Coffee are welcome; coffee may be brought inside the tasting room and their takeout baked/breakfast goods may be enjoyed on our patio with our wines till 3pm. We just ask that you clear our tables of trash and containers before you leave.
Do you sell brick fire pizzas?
You are looking for Sweet Pea Farm to Kitchen Cafe, phone#: (207) 801-9099. They are located on the same property but are an entirely separate entity with separate licensing. Drinks and food are not permitted to cross to and from the restaurant to winery. We do sell pre packaged charcuterie and snacks to enjoy with our wines.
Can we make a reservation?
Our establishment is walk-in only due to our limited space. It is first come, first served. Sign up at the bar to be seated, when space for your group becomes available a server will bring you to seating.
Are pets allowed inside the tasting room?
Pets are welcome to the patio space while you enjoy some wine but are not permitted inside tasting room.
Can children sit at the bar?
Children may be seated at the tables inside or on the patio but not at the bar. Bar seating is for individuals 21 years of age or older.
Can I walk around the premise with a glass of wine?
You may walk around the interior of the tasting room or, outside patio, you must stay within the designated areas. Outside boundaries are clearly marked with signage and fencing.
My friends drink wine but I don’t, may I bring beer to drink while they do tastings?
All alcoholic beverages not manufactured and sold by Bar Harbor Cellars Winery are strictly prohibited on BHCW grounds, this is State Law under our current licensing.
Can I smoke a cigarette or cigar outside on the patio?
You may smoke a cigarette or cigar away from the seated areas on premise. Under no circumstances may THC products be smoked on premise (this includes medical), this is federal law by which we and all other wineries, breweries, and distilleries are regulated.
